Liddington 2022 - Friday 21st October

The children all slept better than ever last night. Hardly surprising after their efforts during such a full on day. This morning, they consumed another huge breakfast, leaving the restaurant determined to make the most of every last minute of their adventure. Lots of Zip Wire work is planned for this morning and I anticipate lots of photos of 'high flying' pupils arriving shortly.

In case you missed the final update yesterday evening.....

The coaches are due at Liddington at lunchtime and will be leaving the site between 1.30 and 1.45pm.

Traffic permitting, the journey should take approximately an hour and we are looking forward to welcoming the children and staff back sometime around 2.45pm.

We will open the Murray road gates at 2.30pm and ask that no parent waits out on the pavement as it will not be safe with so little space to disembark children and luggage.

To make things as easy as possible for everyone and to enable us to reunite children with parents, the staff will bring the children onto the playground and line them up in their classes. If you could wait until they have done so before collecting your child, we would be very grateful.

Please remember to collect any medication from Mrs McBain before leaving the playground. Weather permitting she will be on the stage of the Learning Lodge. If it is raining, you will find her in the library.

We will send out a parent mail confirming that Year 6 are on their way and will message again should there be any unexpected delays. Please do not worry about phoning school to check timings as we will provide updates electronically.

It has rained again but the children are not letting that stop them from embracing every challenge this morning. Their time at Liddington is almost at an end and they will be heading back to Wokingham after their final pit stop in the restaurant. Despite feeling tired, they are still in good spirits and have been a credit to the school and to you. They are an amazing group of children who have been outstanding ambassadors for St Paul's and we are extremely proud of them this week and of their efforts in supporting, encouraging and caring for one another whilst they have been away.
We are very excited about welcoming them home later today!
