Tuesday 19th October

Tuesday xxxam
The coaches left at xxam. The children were in great spirits and excited about their time away! We are really going to miss our lovely Year 6 pupils and staff this week but know they are in for a fabulous time.

I will send out a ParentMail confirming the safe arrival of our intrepid explorers in due course. For an update on what the children get up to this afternoon, please check back here after 5pm today.

6.00pm
Everyone is a little damp from this afternoon's exertions and the children are now back in their rooms having some down time before heading for the dining hall.

The signal at Liddington is notoriously bad but we will upload photos as soon as we receive any.

This afternoon each group completed two different activities - see below. After dinner, all of the children are taking part in 'Splash', an activity which involves working in groups to create a parachute for a water balloon. Sounds like great fun!

7pm - Rain Stops Play!

Change of plan - no Splash. The activity doesn't work well on a wet and windy evening.

So instead, after fuelling up in the dining hall, the children will be organising themselves into teams for a Quiz Night.

Miss Lavrich reports that there are lots of happy children who are feeling extremely proud of what they have achieved already. Go St Paul's!
