St Paul’s Junior School has an active and enthusiastic Parent and Teacher Association. Getting involved with the PTA is a great way to be part of the school community and to raise money to support the children’s education. PTA funds are used to buy classroom, playground, and specialist equipment, and to reduce the costs of school trips and in-school events. Our activities also help to bring parents, children, governors, and teachers together to encourage friendships, partnerships, and a positive sense of community.
The 2022/2023 PTA Committee is:
Chair: Angela Crabtree
Vice chair: Prajakta Kataria
Treasurer: Rehana Malik
Secretary: Suzanne King
Co-Opted Member: Zahra Khan
Volunteer Coordinator – Paula Sherlock
Second Hand uniform coordinator – Petra Kourtparasidis
What are we up to?
Every year we organize our school’s annual events – such as the Bake Sales, Summer Fair, Christmas Fair and children’s discos including the Year 6 Leaver’s disco.
Many of our parents and carers have joined the PTA volunteers WhatsApp group, which is amazing, but we must continue this succession plan ready for when the current PTA members step down. Now is the time to get involved and safeguard the future of our PTA. Your PTA and the school really do need you!
