Today was my first day at school. It was much noisier and busier than I expected, with lots to sniff and explore.
Before school, I watched Running Club and then I met Thomas Kolb on his way into school - he's super speedy on those crutches! I then had a bit of peace and read 'Everyone Hide from Wibbly Pig', before taking a long snooze under Mrs Taylor’s desk.
I was very nervous going into assembly but Mrs Walker held my paw. I was amazed that almost 400 children can be so calm, quiet and well behaved. I am going to have to be on my very best behaviour here!
My parents, brothers and sisters live in Manchester and even though I feel a little homesick, I think that I am going to like being a School Dog because everyone here is so friendly.
Right, I need to go as I am learning how to sit on cue. It is quite tricky and I sometimes get a bit distracted but practise makes perfect and when I get it right, I have a yummy treat and lots of praise.

Yesterday was such a busy day that I was exhausted by the time I got home. I didn’t realise how hard children and staff (and School Dogs) work.
I slept like a log but still needed another forty winks when I arrived this morning. When I woke up, two lovely presents were waiting for me. A book called ‘Bodhi The Pirate Dog’ from Oscar, 4P, and a teddy and bag of treats from Mrs Hargreaves and Walter. I am one very lucky puppy!
Tomorrow is my rest day and so I will see you when I am back in school on Thursday.

I popped my paws into 3B to say good morning and then met more Year 3 children in the library this afternoon – they are a very friendly bunch.
4P were as quiet as mice during registration so I crept in to have a look at what they were up to. No wonder Miss Plumley is so proud of them.
I like watching passers-by at the gate but keep losing count as there are so many people – literally hundreds.
Tonight, is my first governors’ meeting. It’s called Finance and Personnel Committee. I am not exactly sure what that is but I think I may have to be on my best behaviour like the Year 3 and 4 children I met today!

What a brilliant day I’ve had! The House Captains made me feel very welcome at their meeting. I am not sure they got as much work done as they usually do but I am proud to say they made me an honorary member of their group. The meeting wasn't too overwhelming as there are only 8 Captains.
I am not sure if I have already said but I'm not really a fan of the car. Today, a very kind lady called Mrs Singleton lent me a special puppy car seat to try - I am going to give it a go this weekend and will let you know how it goes.
See you Monday.
